Engineering work for Today

Buses replace overnight trains between Dartford and Gravesend from Monday 21 to Friday 25 January

Routes affected:
Southeastern between London Charing Cross / Cannon Street and Gravesend Thameslink between Dartford and Gillingham / Rainham

Engineering work is taking place between Dartford and Gravesend, closing lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

As a result, no trains will run between Dartford and Gravesend between 00:15 (Tuesday - Friday) and the end of service.

Replacement buses will run between Dartford and Gravesend.

The following Thameslink trains will be replaced by buses:

  • 23:30 Rainham to Dartford
  • 00:28 Dartford to Gillingham
  • 01:24 Dartford to Gillingham

Buses replace overnight trains between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells / Hastings from Monday 21 to Wednesday 23 January

Routes affected:
Southeastern between London Charing Cross / London Cannon Street and Tunbridge Wells / Hastings

Engineering work is taking place between Tonbridge and Wadhurst, closing all lines overnight on Monday evening, and between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings on Tuesday evening.

Monday evening / Tuesday morning:

After 22:50 on Monday until the end of service, buses will replace trains between Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, calling at High Brooms.

Additionally:

  • The 22:30 London Charing Cross to Hastings service will terminate at Tonbridge. A replacement bus will run between Tonbridge and Wadhurst (calling at all stations). An additional train service will run between Wadhurst and Hastings.
  • The 22:50 Hastings to Tonbridge service will terminate at Wadhurst
  • The 23:45 London Charing Cross to Hastings service will terminate at Tonbridge. A replacement bus will run between Tonbridge and Hastings, calling at all stations except Crowhurst. A minibus will run between Battle and Crowhurst.

Tuesday evening / Wednesday morning:

The 22:45 and 23:45 London Charing Cross to Hastings services will terminate at Tunbridge Wells.

Replacement buses will run between:

  • Tunbridge Wells to Hastings, calling at Wadhurst, Battle and St Leonards Warrior Square.
  • Tunbridge Wells to Hastings, calling at all stations except Crowhurst.
  • Tunbridge Wells and West St Leonards, calling at all stations except Crowhurst.
  • Battle and Crowhurst (minibus service).

Buses replace trains between Faversham / Sittingbourne and Ramsgate from Monday 21 and Friday 25 January

Southeastern between London St Pancras / London Victoria and Faversham / Ramsgate

Engineering work is taking place between Sittingbourne and Herne Bay / Dover Priory.

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday:

  • The 23:10 London Victoria to Ramsgate service will terminate at Faversham. A replacement bus will run between Faversham and Ramsgate, calling at Margate, Broadstairs and Dumpton Park. A second bus will run between Faversham and Ramsgate, calling at all stations.
  • The 23:55 London St Pancras International to Faversham will terminate at Ebbsfleet International. A replacement bus will run between Ebbsfleet International and Faversham, calling at Gravesend, Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham and Sittingbourne.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday:

  • The 00:10 London Victoria to Ramsgate service will terminate at Sittingbourne. Replacement buses will run between Sittingbourne and Teynham, Sittingbourne and Westgate-on-Sea (calling at all stations) and also between Sittingbourne and Ramsgate (calling at Faversham, Margate, Broadstairs and Dumpton Park).
