You can get at least a third off standard fares with a railcard. Take a look at the table to see which one suits you best. 

Oyster cards

If you’ve linked your railcard to your Oyster card, you’ll get a 34% discount on the off-peak daily price cap. For details, see Transport for London.

Gold Cards

If you have an Annual Gold Card you can buy one of the yearly railcards shown in the table for just £10, either for yourself or someone else.

Network Railcard  £30 for 1 year
1/3 off adult fares and 60% off child fares in London and the South East

You can use it on most fares in the Network Railcard area. It can also save you money on trips to and around London
Anyone over 16 in the Network Railcard area.  Up to three adults travelling with the cardholder will also get 1/3 off their fare. You can take up to four children (aged 5 to 15) with you and save 60% on each child fare Online at Network Railcard or at a ticket office
16-25 Railcard

£30 for 1 year 

£70 for 3 years

1/3 off UK rail fares including all standard and first class Advance Tickets People aged 16-25 or over 26 and in full-time education Online at National Railcards or at a ticket office
Friends & Family Railcard

£70 for 3 years

1/3 off adult fares and 60% off children’s fares, including all standard class and Advance fares
Up to four adults and four children can travel on one card. They don’t have to be related Online at National Railcards or at a ticket office
Two together railcard;  £30 for 1 year 1/3 off travel, including all adult standard and first class Anytime, Off-Peak and Advanced fares

Senior Railcard

1/3 off rail travel, including all standard and first class fares

Disabled Persons Railcard £20 for 1 year
1/3 off standard & first class Anytime, Off-Peak and Advance fares for you and a friend
People who have a disability that makes travelling by train difficult Online at Disabled Persons Railcard
